Here's my weirdo take: the DNC likes that he's out there, doing what he's doing, because they want to marginalize opposition within their party's general orbit by tying both him and Williamson (another easily attacked and parodied caricature) to them, and making sure they get pummeled and lose badly. The DNC and its water carriers can then use their drubbing as an excuse to keep smearing any insurgency against them for years past 2024.
It's quite a wild political landscape we're witnessing. Let's hope the truth about RFK Jr's intentions comes to light soon, and we can put these concerns to rest.
I'm not the conspiratorial type, but it's hard not to think RFK, Jr. is a Useful Idiot for some nefarious, anti-Western state. Having him pluck off a few percentage points from the "centrist critical thinking crowd" could be enough to ensure Trump beats Biden in round 2.
It's really hard not to see Russians around every corner since 2016 - if there's anything that makes me rest a little easier this time around, it's that I figure they're more focused on events in their own backyard at the moment. But then maybe it doesn't take that much work.
