As David Brin frequently points out: ocean acidification. Take'em down to the shore, any shore, and have *them* measure it. There is no "natural cycle", there is no "history", there is no "it's always been this way". Well, that, and monetary bets.
But they won't make the bet, and they won't change their minds, because they don't care.
Also, most interventions that are meant to mitigate climate change have demonstrable benefits to our lived environments as well. Emissions standards mitigated smog. Banning gas stoves may reduce asthma prevalence. Water quality standards may prevent another river catching on fire.
They don't care about that, either, if it might interfere with their "right" to drive their huge fossil-fueled medieval siege weaponry.
There's a political comic I saw once, I don't know if it's well known, but a bunch of politicians just proved climate change is a hoax and one of them is like "You're telling me we cleaned the pollution out of our environment and improved our living standards for NOTHING??"
I think I must have seen either that one or a very similar one. It seems a very obvious point, though, so I don't understand why those of us who accept reality don't hammer it home more often.
"Speaking of which, am I the only person who ever saw the non-Marvel Avengers?"
No. I've seen it and I remember liking it muchly.
Also, did RFK jr really compare the germ theory of disease to *slavery*??? Jesus roller-coasting Christ, that guy! It's amazing that he went from prominent (and I think relatively successful) environmental lawyer to whatever the fuck he is now. Like...all the things he spent his career fighting against - mercury in the water, for example - just to go so far in on one demonstrably idiotic quixotic quest that he's endorsing Donald fucking Trump, who couldn't muster even a tenth of shit about water quality/safety.

MAGA is to blame for not creating hurricane stopping weather machiness 😉.
I know, right?? They have Elon Musk!! Why can't he reverse engineer the weather machine to make an anti-hurricane machine?
Yes they have all the smartest people and yet never solve these issues could only be because they want them 😔!!!!!!!

It's tragic, really.
