Given that the foundation of what passes for right-wing "thought" is selfishness with extra steps, that should help some; they know, and often secretly despise their fellow right-wingers, as competitors for the power they all lust after.
So I was right - Musk is a Bond villain. Soon he'll develop (or, more accurately, steal someone's idea for) the Hugo Drax space-station, complete with neuro-toxin-dispensing globes to wipe out those of us who are just too ignorant to understand his grand vision for society.
